Technicals I - Quadrants
This is quite the easy concept to grasp. It’s not super familiar, but overall allows you to really nitpick your setups, especially when you are struggling to see the narrative and the draw of liquidity.
Theory
Quadrants allow you to split up the dealing range into sub sections.
It looks like this.It basically splits up your dealing range into sub-sections.
Which allows you to filter the proper extremes of your ranges, in order to get the highest probable trades within your matrix.
Why does this help us? It allows you to filter in-between stages of your dealing range.
But this comes at a price, observe, adapt and implement. In that order.
It brings more clarity but can also bring in more noise.
Sometimes you will miss a specific move because it already retraced within your DP range (discount premium), whilst you were waiting for your PD (premium discount, or even PP, premium premium.)
When price floats in EQ, we can distinguish a scenario as such.
Overall, it allows you to amplify your playing field.
